It is possible to have QTs embedded if you use the text editor. But once you do this you can't go back to the wysiwyg editor.
You could have pages with embedded movies, using this sort of formatting, and just have links to the pages from the main story pages. You could also handle the formatting in a regular web page editing program.

 
It is also possible to just attach multimedia files and let people open them by a double click.
